Mac 1.0.0 · Windows 1.0.0 Changes

Blocking footage with a mismatched interpretation frame rate

  • When Premiere's interpreted frame rate differs from the source file's frame rate, processing stops to prevent incorrect duration calculations. A message asks you to restore the original rate and select the source again.

This does not add automatic frame-rate conversion. Footage with a changed interpretation rate remains unsupported.

Mac 1.0.0 · Windows 1.0.0 Changes

Unified Mac and Windows 1.0.0 release

  • Range Cut now uses the same signed 1.0.0 CEP package on Mac and Windows. Existing range insertion and subclip extension features are preserved.
Mac 1.0.0 · Windows 0.1.4 Changes

Product Manager integration and extendable subclips

  • Range Cut can be installed, repaired, and removed independently in Product Manager. Signed CEP packages are provided as Mac 1.0.0 and Windows 0.1.4.
  • New subclips can now be extended at either end within the source media boundaries. This does not retroactively change previously created restricted subclips.
  • Ranges are inserted in input order, with batch-based result checks when processing many ranges.

Silence removal requires separately installed FFmpeg and ffprobe. It is not speech recognition and does not re-encode source media. Final validation in a real Windows Premiere environment is separate.
