RELEASE NOTES

SEOHA Caption Check
Release history.

Checks supported MOGRT captions for potential duplicates and their locations. Listed by date, newest first.

Changes from the latest to earlier versions. Find current installers in Product Manager and feature instructions in the user guides.

Mac 1.0.0 · Windows 1.0.0 Changes

Fixing empty-field positions in all-fields comparison

  • All-fields comparison now preserves empty-field positions, fixing an issue where captions with the same text in different fields could be grouped together. Items whose selected fields are all empty are excluded from duplicate candidates.

The check is read-only and finds possible duplicates. It does not automatically edit or delete captions.

Mac 1.0.0 · Windows 1.0.0 Changes

Unified Mac and Windows 1.0.0 release

  • SEOHA Caption Check now uses the same signed 1.0.0 CEP package on Mac and Windows. Existing caption retrieval and checking features are preserved.
Mac 1.0.0 · Windows 0.1.1 Changes

Separate Mac CEP 1.0.0 release

  • The Mac CEP is provided as a separate signed 1.0.0 package. Windows remains at 0.1.1. No new checking features were added in this release.

The existing extension identifiers and checking scope are unchanged. CEP signing is separate from Apple notarization of Mac desktop apps.

v0.1.1 Changes

Multilingual interface and language switching for scan results

  • Added a Korean, English, and Japanese interface with language selection.
  • Changing the language also updates scan and navigation result messages to the selected language.

This read-only scan finds potential duplicates in supported MOGRTs. It does not automatically modify or delete captions.

v0.1.0 Changes

Installation package availability

  • Made the signed CEP package available for installation through Product Manager.
  • Included in the macOS and Windows packages. Duplicate-checking functionality remains within the 0.1.0 scope.

Scans Source Text in directly placed, supported MOGRTs. Native captions and nested sequences are excluded.

v0.1.0 Changes

Read-only duplicate-caption scan MVP

  • Reads exposed Source Text from supported MOGRTs to find potential duplicates.
  • Classifies results as overlapping times, adjacent duplicates, or separate repeats elsewhere in the sequence.
  • Added batch processing to scan large sequences in smaller sections.
  • Established a direction for free distribution without sign-in, activation keys, payment, or default telemetry.

This entry records the initial scanning feature. See the latest entries above for subsequent packages.
